I have played Scrabble since I was very young. I have some of the best memories playing with my mom and she would get so silly. Talking about all people who used to play. Although I normally lost to mom it was the memories of good times.

I understand that ads may come here and there but right after every play?! Really! This is ridiculous that the provider is gonna make you pay for something you downloaded for free.

I have enjoy playing scrabble on your app but I do not like the video advertisements that play after almost every move and the computer plays words that are very obscure and ridiculous.

The game is great! Too many ads though. An occasional ad turned into frequent ads turned into ads between every game turned into full 30 second commercials. That part is very irritating.

SCRABBLE IS A GREAT WAY TO RELAX, KEEP YOUR MIND SHARP AND EVEN CHAT WITH FRIENDS. I love Scrabble but the last update is even worse than the update that started this mess!! Now, that chat function does not work at all! It lets you type your message and send it but the it never appears in the recipients in box and it also doesnt appear in my chat box!! Now we also have the fun little feature that makes the game freeze!! The game freezes during play, at the end of an add and any messages that are sent from the one player to another. I have deleted and reinstalled the app in hopes that it would help. As you can guess, it did not work!! The game is so slow and not fun at all. My friends names have turned to numbers so I have no idea who I am playing against! I have no desire to play against a bunch of numbers! The play is extremely slow and my favorite game has gotten to the point where I would rather not play!! The teacher feature was a great help but using it is now difficult at best. How could you take something that was so good and ruin it this way?? PLEASE BRING BACK THE LAST VERSION ( the one before the update in January)BEFORE YOU LOSE TOO MANY LONG TIME PLAYERS TO WORDS WITH FRIENDS!!!! PLEASE FIX THIS APP AND MAKE IT THE FUN GAME IT USED TO BE!!!!

Too many ads and why would I need wifi to play with the computer?

I hate the Taco Bell ads that you cant X off. You have to swipe them and they stay on forever!

Decent game play, but its EA so expect way yo many ads and useless in game purchased. EA, destroying childhood memories one piece of licensed IP at a time.

However while playing during the teaching days the screen locks up and when I get back in my tiles have changed. Whats up with that? I wrote the above a while ago and got no response. Whats up?

Words do not seem to be standard English. Hate the ads.

AND even more sideways ads????Seriously?? Every move and a commercial, exchange tiles and a commercial, pass turn and a commercial, one letter plays at the end of a game and thats right another commercial. Some are sideways??? Or $10?? Can you say wordswithfriends??

I live the game, but... There are ads between every play, some are short but there are 30 second ads that cannot be skipped. As if that wasnt annoying enough, most times its the same ad over and over again; makes me want to boycott the advertisers. Also, I play using The Merriam-Webster dictionary and inevitably the computer uses random words that do not appear in the dictionary or are foreign words. It played a word today that a three letter acronym. Apparently reading the other reviews shows there are many players disgusted/annoyed with ads. Give us a real please.

I really love this game, and this app! My only real issue is that there is so many ads and that they are super slow! And SUPER ANNOYING

I dont know what happened but, this game crashes CONSTANTLY. It started, I believe, after the new IOS platform was downloaded to my iPad. I would play the game (against the computer) and either before or right after the computers turn, the game would crash. Sometimes after I reboot the game, the game that I was playing has gone to never-ever-land; so I am forced to play a new game. It is the most frustrating thing to play Scrabble now. I admit I am addicted but, this is ridiculous, time consuming and, enough to MAKE me quit playing. Yes, I play the "free" games but still. PLEASE fix or make compatible with the latest IOS.

You can only log in with FB or "origin" to play your friends. Terrible concept. I dont use either thus I cant create an account or play with any of my specific friends.

Big in commercial couldnt leave it. Had to reboot phone 15 times to finish the game.

The creators keep messing with the various layers that they keep adding on that slow the game down till the player wants to scream! My advice,since you guys did ask me to write a review) is to remember that this is a game, and for people to enjoy it, it needs to keep moving...so the more roadblocks and advertisements you guys add to the thing; the less enjoyable it becomes! Stop trying to make so much money on it, and let the players play! Fix the shut-downs and screen lock-ups.

Almost 55 year old, strict grammar and spelling stickler with no college degree but who can communicate fluently with all ivy league graduates. Ive been playing for years. I really want to know WHO upgraded the "medium" level here most recently to include the utterly obscure and unknown words that I and Id bet the VAST majority of Americans have neverrrr heard of wouldnt know the definitions of if their lives depended on it! Somehow Im still able to win more than lose but it still confounds me. Anyone??
