There are far too many ads in the free version but other than that, I love this game.

I play with family across the country and the last updates has just made it even better! Haters gonna hate...come play with us!!!

Why in the world is the game taking me to the newspaper when I click to log on on Facebook. This started this week, and nothing gets me to the game. I enjoy the newspaper, except it made me cry about Prince. Please fix it.

The game keeps freezing, forcing me to reboot my device. When I get the app back open again, all my letters have been changed. On top of it all, the App Store didnt even recognize it on my pad and made me download a second copy in order to write this review!

The ads on this free version harass you more than any other program I have used. Makes playing very unpleasant. I didnt suffer this for long because the app crashed in the middle of my first game.

Game keeps freezing Too many long ads

I could not even play a single round without some form of an ad popping up. It ruined the whole gaming experience. I do not usually mind ads, but in this game the ads come too often. I will make sure to tell everyone I know about my negative gaming experience because this game was that horrible. The ads themselves can also be extremely graphic such as the walking dead. This is a game for all ages so please keep that in mind. I would also like to comment on how my games keep disappearing and freezing mid turn. I am not sure if this is because of the latest update, but if it is, I would love for it to be fixed. Lastly I would like to say that the game itself was fun, but all these problems led me to give it a very low rating.

I too hate the updated version for the same reasons like everybody else hates. Fix it NOW!!!

Freezes all the time. Ads way too long. If I didnt love the game I would give up on this app and delete.

Game itself is ok but you will get an ad every single round. These are not 5 seconds ads but 30+ second ads. Some dont even tell you how long to force you to have to look at them to check if they are done. Taco Bell one is most annoying. It has no timer, you can not X out, so I dont even know what to do. Because you only can see half the page it tricks you to think that if you swipe to see their ad then it will go away. Not so. So I left it sitting on my desk and did something else. When I came back it was done. The first time. The second time I just couldnt get rid if it. And really it isnt enjoyable to have to walk away and come back every. Single. Round. So even though I was winning by over 49 points, and I only had 4 more does to go, I abandoned the game and I deleted the app. I just cant deal any longer. I made a mental note to not eat at Taco Bell for a while. I suppose you can pay $7.99 for the paid app. But this free one ... Dont do it.

I realize that there are ads after a game because I use the free version. However if the ads dont show up my next turns are turned off. Whats up? I bought a new iPad because a lot of stuff wasnt working but although everything else is working now this game has still a problem. Please fix it! I enjoy this game when it works correctly. I get that this is the free version, but at some points there is an ad after every single move. I mean, come on. It actually dissuades me from wanting to follow the ads and play the game. The paid version at $7 isnt worth it. All this does is annoy. I give two stars because the game works well and is very playable otherwise. -3 stars for the ads.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE FIX THIS APP! I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE THE NEW UPDATE A FEW DAYS AGO! I THOUGHT THAT SCRABBLE FINALLY DECIDED TO FIX THE MESS THEY MADE OUT OF THE GAME. UNFORTUNATELY I WAS VERY WRONG!! SCRABBLE IS A GREAT WAY TO RELAX, KEEP YOUR MIND SHARP AND EVEN CHAT WITH FRIENDS. I love Scrabble but the last update is even worse than the update that started this mess!! Now, that chat function does not work at all! It lets you type your message and send it but the it never appears in the recipients in box and it also doesnt appear in my chat box!! Now we also have the fun little feature that makes the game freeze!! I have deleted and reinstalled the app in hopes that it would help. As you can guess, it did not work!! The game is so slow and not fun at all. My friends names have turned to numbers so I have no idea who I am playing against! I have no desire to play against a bunch of numbers! The play is extremely slow and my favorite game has gotten to the point where I would rather not play!! The teacher feature was a great help but using it is now difficult at best. How could you take something that was so good and ruin it this way?? PLEASE BRING BACK THE LAST VERSION ( the one before the update in January)BEFORE YOU LOSE TOO MANY LONG TIME PLAYERS TO WORDS WITH FRIENDS!!!! PLEASE FIX THIS APP AND MAKE IT THE FUN GAME IT USED TO BE!!!!

My girl and I love the app. Wished there were less ads

The version I have posts ads at every play. I understand that ads are part of it, but this really slows everything down.

Enjoy the game, often win, understand need for ads but what marketing genius thought running the same ads over and over again was effective? Would never support any of the advertisers as a result. And having one or more ads between every move takes overkill to a new level. While better than it was, the game still freezes from time to time when an ad is running. The game is still freezing from time to time. When I close it out and reopen it the letters in the rack have changed. Very annoying. Happens time after time after time. Freezing is getting worse.

Scrabble is my all time favorite board game. I am enjoying the ability to compete online against friends and family. App runs smoothly.
